A fit test is a method confirming that a mask fits well on the face using a fit tester, etc. in an objective way, so that the operator can provide the suitable mask for the wearer.
Since the fit (tightness) between the mask and face is significantly important when wearing respiratory protective devices, fit test is currently recommended even for work where fit tests are not required by law.
