Chemical protective clothing / gloves can be used when handling harmful gaseous, liquid or particulate chemical substances such as acids, alkalis and organic chemicals, to prevent permeation and penetration of chemicals.

There are two main types of chemical protective clothing, the full body protective clothing and the part protective clothing.
Chemical protective clothing can be classified into more detail types by use, according to JIS T 8115:2015 "Chemical Protective Clothing”.
Chemical Protective Gloves is according to JIS T 8116:2005 "Chemical Protective Gloves”.
